Marketing Strategy

CSI business approach is end user and contractor driven.  Contact established with the end user to determine the preference for product and contractor.  This information is then used to develop recommendations about our product mix including price, features, availability, warranty, and channels of distribution that will meet the customer’s needs; and the information is passed on to our manufacturer partner’s in order to refine their production requirements for the Southeast.

Targeted Sales Channels

Distribution:
Our existing CSI distributor relationships have been successful because of the level of support we provide.  Furthermore, we provide our distributors with key account information to ensure maximum sales support and follow through; please bear in mind we push, drag, and pull sales through distribution.

Some of our key distributor partners are:
Accu-Tech, Anixter, CSC, Graybar, RWS, Resource, DH Supply, Inline Electric Supply, Mayer Electric Supply, Bluff City Electronics, Advantage Electronics, Stokes Electric, ADI, and Rexel.

Vertical Markets

Consultants, Design Engineers, and Network Integrators:
CSI is a strong advocate of Integrator, Consultants, and Design Engineers as an excellent source of specification and up-front selling opportunities.

Contractors

Contractors have considerable influence over which manufacturer’s product or products for their installations.  Leading Southeast contractors have existing incentive programs with manufacturers; CSI tries to work with our manufacturer partners to develop and tailor programs that will give the contractor an incentive to help specify and use the CSI manufacturer’s products for their installations.
